Friends of Blackland Farm

The Friends of Blackland Farm was formed in 1959 by a group who wished to give service to a much-loved campsite and remain up to date about what was happening here.

As well as providing gifts and funds, the Friends organise an annual working party, help in the shop at peak times, and enjoy a social weekend combined with their AGM.

Blackland Farm is grateful to the Friends for the heroic effort they make each spring to clean and prepare the equipment for the new camping season.

New Weathervane

The Friends of Blackland Farm commissioned the weathervane, located on the main office building, to mark the long service of their first President Catharine Scott

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dates for 2012

All events are held at Blackland Farm

March 20-21 - Social and service days held in Wagtails

July 8 - Jubilee Cream Tea held in Finches 2 from 14:00 till 16:30 

October 19-21 - The Annual Review held in Wagtails with the Business Meeting at 11:00 on the Saturday
