Whether you're a beginner or an expert, or a residential visitor or a day guest, we have a number of challenging and fun activities for you. You'll be busy from dawn to dusk enjoying activities such as zip wire, water sports, climbing, abseiling, archery and rifle shooting.  Take a look at our instructor-led activities and non instructor-led activities.

Please read about the licenses Blackland Farm holds in relation to health and safety and adventure sports.

Activities for members with disabilities

The ability to participate in activities depends upon each individual. However, it is anticipated that all activities are suitable for people with disabilities except climbing at the rocks for wheelchair users. Those with a full visual impairment would need help with some activities.

Each year we offer a range of courses and events  to members and the general public, these include leader training courses such as the Grand National Archery Society Leader Award and the British Canoe Union courses,  as well as Rainbow, Brownie and Guide events. Please download the Adventure Made Easy brochure.

Booking forms for these events can be located here.

We are covered by a £20 million Public Liability Insurance. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us on 01342 810 493 or email blackland@girlguiding.org.uk.
